Kroeung Krahom | Red Curry Paste

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 C Dried California Peppers, rehydrated in hot water
  • 1 C Lemongrass, fine mince
  • 4 Khafir Lime Leaves, fine mince
  • 1 T Tumeric Root
  • 2 Shallots, rough chop
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 t Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Using a mortar and pestle, pound and grind all the ingredients into a fine paste. 
  2. Use immediately or store in an air tight container and refrigerate or freeze for later use.
